Goals
Our goals include:
  • Developing community based programs by using statistics and research driven
    practices;
  • Connecting the communities, schools, athletics, and workforce to enhance the
    development of our youth;
  • Minimizing the risk conditions that lead to delinquency, family/peer/substance abuse,
    sexual be-haviors/STDs, etc;
  • Collaborating with state/federal/private agencies, K-12/colleges/universities,
    nonprofit/community organizations for improved coordination and planning efforts;
  • Transforming our youth into leaders and competitive members of our community
    and country;
  • Having community and educational programs that focus on academic wellness,
    reasonable/critical thinking, coping with issues that youth encounter, self-
    esteem/self-help workshops, field trips, community and athletic service projects,
    career/educational, planning training/workshops (resume/application builder,
    interviewing skills, college readiness) volunteering, internships;
  • Reincorporating youth that have spent time in detention/correctional centers, jail,
    and prison in the community by involving them in service projects and implementing
    rehabilitation skills/strategies; and countless other programs and activities that will
    give our youth the skill-set they will need for a prosperous future;
Our programs and activities will serve as a catalyst for systematic change and reassurance
among our youth.

Philosophy
The Philosophy of GUILTY is to allow our youth the opportunities to develop and build
self confidence and accomplish goals that they set for themselves (long and short
term).  GUILTY will allow our youth a path to foster healthy relationships with their
family, friends, community, professional adults, and to teach them how to become
positive role models.   The programs and activities will emphasize the importance of
setting goals, education, caring, and confronting the trials/tribulations that stand in the
way of their success.  The focus of GUILTY is to be an advocate and an outlet for our
youth, specifically those labeled “at-risk” and “delinquent”, ages 21 and under.

The industry that GUILTY is a part of, is an industry that has been developed and
sustained on various levels.  Being a philanthropic organization, we thrive on the
successful outcomes of our youth that have been negatively labeled in society.  All of
the outcomes will be different because no two lives are the same.  If we can change a
child that has a police record, does not attend school, sexually promiscuous, does not
respect authority, plays dangerously because there are not activities that are located
in their community, or a child that is struggling because their parents are in jail, on
drugs, or abusive, we have successfully accomplished the overall goal of GUILTY.
Mission
Giving U Inspirational Lives Through our Youth, is a 501(c)(3) community youth development nonprofit organization that works together
with the community to better the lives, build confidence, and a positive future for youth labeled “at-risk” and “delinquent”

While nurturing and developing the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-beings of our youth, we equip them with the tools to ensure a
brighter future. Our programs are designed to teach responsibility, accountability, sustainability, attainability, trust, honesty, support, and
critical/reasonable thinking. These skills and attributes are essential to youth leading just and productive lives in their communities. To
preserve the innocence of youth, we as a community have to be aware of the issues and accomplishments that they face on a daily basis.
The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
